Whirlwind day...
Seriously, where has the day gone? It was Edith's ballet lesson this morning, and hot chocolate and donuts for breakfast afterwards. Then it was cleaning up, making lunch (and dinner for later), eating, and dashing out to Scunthorpe. It was exchanging some stuff at Primark for the right size, going to the library, supervising the kids in making mother's day cards for me at the 20/21 gallery (mothering Sunday tomorrow). Then it was a quick snack, and off to the Speech and Drama festival trophy showcase. Home then, quick dinner, bath, and bedtime. Then a little tidy up, a Skype call with my mom (hi Mom), and lesson preparation. Now it's blogging, soon to be followed up by more tidying, reading, and bed. Hmmm, maybe I'll squeeze a little yoga in there as well.
Phew!
Got some thoughts brewing on forgiveness. They really belong on both blogs. But for now, I'd just like to leave this with all of you:

Waste not, want not...
I'm feeling very into reducing, re-using, and recycling today.
I repaired a pair of work-out trousers this afternoon. They had holes in them, so I sewed the holes up and put a patch on where the fabric was wearing thin.
I also made my own facial cleanser, with honey, glycerine, and castile soap.
But my favorite project was the one I did for Edith. Sure, I could have made a kitchen scrubber when my Body Shop loofah bit the dust, but it was a lot of very pink fabric, and it was screaming "TUTU" to me. So I stripped some pretty pink elastic from an old nursing bra of mine, got out the sewing machine, wound a bobbin, threaded the machine, sewed a single seam, threaded the elastic, and now Edith is prancing around the house like a ballerina.
Also done today was a closet clear-out. I've bagged up a small grocery bag full to take to the charity shop and done some pre-emptive layering.
The project for tonight is to deep clean the kitchen and bathroom, then make some laundry powder.
Wow, for some reason I am feeling a bit organic supermom-ish. I'd better get some more stuff done before it wears off and I am back to being a slacker!

It's only fair...
I wasn't going to post this video, but Emma posted one on her blog of me and Helen (also heavily pregnant) dancing to that stupid Wii game. I figured it was only fair, seeing as how she knows how much I loathe and detest my pregnant body anyway and that I think pregnant women look ridiculous dancing! At least these two are nice and trim and aren't shaking the bulk of lady + baby. NOT nice, Emma, but I still love you.

Dylan's latest animal noises...
Trying out the videos from the new camera--I hope this works OK because I really love this video. Dylan loves to perform and entertain, and he especially loves showing off his new skills.

Dylan's latest party trick...
We have been working on animal sounds with Dylan, and so far this is the only one he's mastered. But this one is so cute that it makes up for all the ones he can't do yet!
